By Design is an Internal Service Organization in the Department of Design, Housing, and Apparel, in the College of Human Ecology, at the University of Minnesota.

By Design serves University clients by providing graphic design services that meet units' visual communication needs, while giving graphic design majors a professional experience (By Design employment meets the major's internship requirement).
